Casandra’s Bio:

Casandra began Belly Dancing in 197, and has  studied with  many international and premier dancers.

Extensive stage experience

Feature dancer: Grecian Touch, PJ’s, Olde Hillcrest ( members of the Moscow Ballet Company enthusiastically applauded her performance), Candlewood Inn  /  Supper club engagements include:   Caproni’s, Rombi’s, Corinthian, Hearth, Georgio’s  /  Performed with recording artist, Vince Sauma  /  Live Performance Videos /  Carnival Cruise Lines (standing ovation upon her first performance on the Festivale)  /  Special Performances:  Zorayda (St Augustine, Florida); Uncle Sam’s, enjoyed return requests at both Zorba’s and the Golden Greek in Tarpon Springs

Since 1976, Casandra has enjoyed teaching the art to many enthusiastic students

  • Professional organizations and has been thrilled at the reception
  • Her Madeira Adult Education program (several years) was so popular that students offered their homes in the summer so lessons could continue year round
  • She was honored to teach belly dancing to members of the touring RIVERDANCE Ensemble from Ireland during their stay in Cincinnati.
  • 1978, Casandra opened her studio in Wyoming for enthusiastic students, and has enjoyed teaching many students over the years.  In 1979, she opened her studio in Cincinnati. 
  • 1979-1981:  taught at the Belly Dancing Studio in Tri-County
  • 1981-1993:  opened her studio in Wyoming  Developed the Casandra Technique of Belly Dancing
  • Discovery Center:   taught her method for many years.  Her classes were very popular!

  • Present:  The Belly Dance Studio
  • 2007:  she was contacted by the University of Cincinnati to teach the first Belly Dancing Course to be taught for the University, where her classes always have a waiting list
